I yearn
I yearn for your
sweet tapestry of life.
Torn
I am torn.
You rise and I
fall deeply.
We are not so different
yet you succumbed
when I stood
tall.
My life fades
In every breathe I take.
Do not pity
for I pity you.
You with your waves
of life
they crash all around
but you still
burrow in your empty beach
of sand.
