Audi Canada has introduced the Progressiv versions of the A4 with a number of features as standard, not found as options or not offered on its competitors.

Audi Canada has announced the introduction of the 2008 A4 "Progressiv" models. The new configuration of the popular Audi A4 has been created for customers wanting a thoroughly modern German luxury sport sedan with more exterior appeal and attractive packaging. This adds to the popular S line exterior bumpers and grille introduced as standard features on the A4 3.2 and A4 2.0 TFSI for the 2008 model year, which include a sportier front bumper and grille design, lower side door flares, and integrated rear trunk lid spoiler.
The special, high-value A4 Progressiv models will be available in the 2.0 TFSI FrontTrak sedans, the 2.0 TFSI quattro and A4 3.2 FSI quattro models with both sedan and Avant body styles that incorporate a high degree of additional value.
Included in the standard specification for the new Audi A4 Progressiv models are features that are optional, if even available, on competitive brands in this market segment.
With all of the standard A4 features as well as those found on the Special Edition, the new A4 Progressiv offers consumers remarkable value coupled with the sporty appearance of the highly acclaimed Audi A4.
Innovative and highly sophisticated technologies are an integral part of practically all vehicle areas and components: the bi-xenon headlights, quattro all-wheel drive and the revolutionary TFSI and FSI engine technology.
The powerful A4 boasts FSI and turbo technology, setting the pace for competitive vehicles in this class. Two performance-oriented engines are available in the A4 sedan and Avant.
The A4's 2.0 TFSI was the first engine to combine turbo charging with the FSI concept of gasoline direct injection and produces 200 hp from 5,100 to 6,000 rpm. The maximum torque of 207 lb/ft. is available from just 1,800 all the way up to 5,000 rpm.
The six-cylinder 3.2 FSI has all the features of an ultramodern engine: FSI gasoline direct injection with demand-controlled fuel supply, a variable intake manifold and continuous camshaft adjustment on both the intake and the exhaust side.
This V6 engine delivers 255 hp at 6,500 revolutions per minute. Its peak torque of 243 lb/ft. is available at 3,250 rpm.
