Drama productions, cultural dances and choir music are on the agenda as Markham’s newest high school celebrates its official opening May 8.
Bur Oak Secondary, which opened last fall, throws open its doors to the public from 7 to 9 p.m.
Also in the spotlight are food made by the hospitality students, art showcases and a video displaying all the special events students and staff have had.
The school is at 933 Bur Oak Ave. in between McCowan Road and Hwy.48 north of 16th Ave.
