York Regional Police are hunting three men after a Markham home was ransacked during a home invasion Thursday.

At about midnight, two people returning to their apartment building on Cox Avenue, in the Warden Avenue and Hwy. 7 area, were confronted by three people packing guns and forced inside. Another person was already inside the apartment, police said.

The three people were kept in a bedroom while the thieves went through the apartment and took cash before fleeing, according to police.

No one was hurt during the heist.

Police describe all three men as black, two of them are 20 years old.

One is six feet tall, 180 pounds with a medium build, has black hair and was wearing a beige hoodie.

The other is five-feet 10-inches, 160 pounds with a thin build was wearing black clothes, black sunglasses and a bandanna over his face.

If you have any information, call police at 1-866-876-5423.
