York Regional Police are searching for four suspects after a robbery Monday night in Markham.
At about 4 p.m. Monday, three suspects entered the Daiy Mart Convenience store at 2734 Bur Oak Ave. and approached the clerk.
The fourth suspect acted as a lookout outside the store.
Two suspects brandished handguns and a quantity of cash was stolen.
The suspects fled on foot after being alerted by the looking, police said.
Officers were able to recover a pellet gun near the scene.
No one was injured during this incident.
Suspect No. 1 is described as male, 18 to 20 years of age, wearing a red, short-sleeved checkered shirt with a long-sleeved chocolate brown undershirt, dark blue jeans, dark shoes, cloth gloves and a bandanna. He was armed with a handgun.
Suspect No. 2 is also described as male, 18 to 20 years of age. He was wearing a dark blue vest, black undershirt, grey sweatpants, black boos with black gloves and black toque and a red bandanna covering his face. He was also armed with a handgun.
The third suspect is an 18 to 20-year-old male. He was wearing a black down-filled jacket with a hood, dark jeans and tan Puma running shoes.
The fourth suspect, who was the lookout, is described as white, male and 18 to 20 years of age.
He was five-feet, six-inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
