Every year for Valentine’s Day, my mother would make heart-shaped sandwiches with Nutella, a hazelnut-chocolate spread. She had a differently themed plate and set of cookies for each holiday.
Every Sunday morning, I would smell the tasty aroma of fresh tomato sauce. After waking to the scent of garlic and basil, I knew what to expect next. My mother would call us down to help her make fresh pasta for Sunday dinner.
These are just some of the things my mom does that makes her the best.
