The Markham Waxers put closure to the 2007-08 Provincial Junior A Hockey League season by announcing their individual award winners.

Defenceman Chris Tanev was named most improved player.

Veteran forward Mark Cornacchia was selected most sportsmanlike.

Cody Hamilton was best defenceman.

The Coaches Award, for most dedicated player, went to forward Matthew Meszaros.

Forward Michael Catenacci was named rookie of the year.

Defenceman Paul McMullen was named best defensive player.

The most valuable player award was shared by forward Michael Scheu and defenceman Cody Hamilton.

Goalkeeper Kyle Rank and forward David Kostuch were named playoff most valuable player.

Kostuch and Cornacchia were tied as leading scorers.
