Two women have been charged after a Woodbridge spa was raided Thursday. York Regional Police watched Barbara’s Health Spa at 100 Hanlan Rd. Unit 1, near Pine Valley Drive and Steeles Avenue, last month and determined sex acts were being exchanged for money.
The spa was not licenced by the city of Vaughan, police said.
The spa was searched and Thursday and two people arrested.
A 30-year-old Brampton woman and a 39-year-old Toronto woman are charged with being inmates of a common bawdy house.
Both women are scheduled to appear in court May 28.
