Joyce Frustaglio has been granted more time to compile information to respond to questions about her 2006 municipal election campaign financed.

A decision by Vaughan council whether or not to order a forensic audit for the regional councillor’s finances has been pushed to May 20.

The request to audit the longtime councillor’s campaign finances was brought forward by Vaughan resident Raymond Plouffe.

Mr. Plouffe alleges Ms Frustaglio accepted donations from related companies, which exceeds the limits set out by the Ontario Municipal Elections Act.
