Seniors, grab your bait and tackle.

The annual Lions Club of Stouffville Fishing Derby is taking place June 7 at Burd’s Pond on Hwy. 48.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is open to seniors and the disabled.

Two free fish per person and lunch are included.

The event will run rain or shine, so participants are advised to dress accordingly.

Anyone interested must register by June 4.
