You have the right to order pizza.

York Regional Police are taking the term To Serve and Protect to a whole different level as officers exchange cruisers and handcuffs or order books to act as waiters at Boston Pizzas across York Region Thursday.

This is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics.

Officers will serve during the lunch and dinner sessions at 10 locations including:

• 8 First Commerce Dr., Aurora;

• 18199 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury;

• 253 The Queensway South, Keswick;

• 7680 Markham Rd., Markham;

• 7020 Warden Ave., Markham;

• 157 York Blvd., Richmond Hill;

• 2910 Major Mackenzie Dr., Richmond Hill;

• 1060 Hoover Park Dr., Stouffville;

• 50 Interchange Way, Vaughan and;

• 3255 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan.
 
Boston Pizza invites you to donate a toonie for a paper torch that represents the Flame of Hope, the symbol of the Special Olympics.
