Newmarket Main Street Farmer’s Market
From June to October, you’ll enjoy the farmer’s market nestled in Newmarket’s historic downtown core. Vendors offer a wide variety of farm fresh produce, home-style baking, and other unique farm wares. Live music and horse-drawn tours of the downtown add to the festival-like atmosphere.

Newmarket Theatre
The Newmarket Theatre provides a modern, state-of-the-art facility for live theatre and musical performances. It’s the premier arts centre in the community and hosts numerous shows throughout the year. The box office is open Monday to Friday 1-5:30 pm and Saturday Noon-4pm. 24-hour ticket hotline.

York Shakespeare Festival
The Bard comes to Newmarket every summer during the York Shakespeare Festival, thanks to the dedication and talent of the Resurgence Theatre Company. Performances are in an outdoor pavilion along the shores of beautiful Fairy Lake, making for an unforgettable experience. The season runs from July through August.
