The tour begins with a history lesson….

Whitchurch-Stouffville
Experience the history of Township and immerse yourself in a traditional rural lifestyle of the 1800s at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum. Take a ride on the York-Durham Heritage Railway, where riders are treated to a nostalgic ride through some of the most beautiful country in York Region. The majesty of the Oak Ridges Moraine---rolling hills, verdant farmland, and lush forests---can be seen through the windows of the restored early 20th century cars. The 2.5 hour journey runs from Stouffville Station 20 kilometers (12.2 miles) distance to Uxbridge, and of course back again.
