Some 40 teens from various high schools across the GTA took part in a Teens For the Community (TFC) event last week, bringing joy to the elderly at the Constantia retirement home in Thornhill. Young girls like Leanne Zive (above) gave manicures to the women and played cards and board games with residents, or shot a little pool. Teens For the Community is a project of Chabad Youth Network, which empowers teens to gain leadership skills while serving their community. For more on TFC’s community work, contact Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas at 905-889-7582 or visit www.JewishYouth.ca.
