Michael Bolger carded a two-over par 106 to win his age group division at the Canadian Junior Golf Association Junior Open Thursday at the Cedarhurst course near Beaverton.

The 19-year-old Unionville resident had a 37 during Wednesday’s rain-shortened round and 69 Thursday to win the boys 17-19 division.

Among other Markham participants, Brett Geiser, 13, finished third in the Boys 13 and Under Division after carding a two-round, nine-over par 113.

Geiser had a 38 in Wednesday’s shortened round and 75 Thursday to finish three shots behind winner Owen Bates of Mississauga.
