The Garlic is Great Festival runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmers’ Market, 200 Doug Duncan Dr. Aug. 16. Experience the wonderful world of garlic through cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and everything garlic. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. get a world class experience at International Day on Main Street and the Newmarket Rotary Ribfest at Fairy Lake Park.
