Julia Hodgson fired a three-round 234 to finish second in the girls’ competition at last Thursday’s Canadian Junior Golf Association’s Nike Golf Junior Championship at Piper’s Heath Golf Club near Milton.

The 16-year-old Unionville resident carded rounds of 77, 82 and 75 to finish six shots behind winner Augusta James of Bath, who finished 12 over at 228 (76-75-77).
